Ballarat Heritage Weekend 2009

Over the Mother's Day Weekend the City of Ballarat held their annual "Heritage Weekend". The Learmonth & District Historical Society held a stall at the historic Mining Exchange in Lydiard Street. This proved to be a great publicity boostfor the society with a constant stream of visitors moving through our display, which was the creation of long time member Claudette Crick. A big Thank You to the many society members who gave their time to man the stall and assist with the many queries received. Our extensive array of publications on offer also proved popular with many sales made over the two days.
